New members are required to attend an in-person orientation in order to complete the application process, learn about the exchange software, and gather ideas on skills to offer and request. Members earn one Time Credit for attending the one-hour orientation. Please reach out to one of the coordinators to find out about the next orientation session or look under the "Events" tab for new members. Orientations are generally held at Swarthmore United Methodist Church, 129 Park Avenue, and last one hour. The in-person aspect of this is important so that the TimeBank remains locally-oriented and includes those who are committed to community-building.
